For a Larimer St. shopping experience, Octane/Premium 93, located at (1428 Larimer), is not so different at first. The prices are what you would expect, the industrial/organic vibe fits right into the downtown Denver lifestyle, and many of the brands are the same as stores next door….
Despite the similarities, keep looking, because this store has an amazing selection of clothing and combinations that other boutiques would shy away from…. Who would think to combine upscale and funky Ted Baker, with preppy Fred Perry and skate company RUCA in one men’s section? Who would combine the recycled nature of Fresh Start and the organic nature of Loomstate with the likes of rocker label Eisbar and the expensive label 12th street from Cynthia Vincent? Well they did, and it works.
The denim hangs uni-sexually together from chains in the back of the store and hosts a great selection of your favorites like PaperDenim&Cloth, Chip n’Pepper, J. Lindeberg, 575, and a lot of brands that you have probably not found in Denver before.
They also have a jewelry designer that designs exclusively for the Denver store. Lindsey Bloom makes use of earthy gemstones bound with wire and beads…which is not only a trendy yet classic choice, but surprisingly easy to pair with your wardrobe.
This will be a shopping experience. You will find labels you love, labels you have never seen, you will find something for every single friend you have in this store, and that is the brilliance of being the same, but different.
