When you step out your door on a Friday/Saturday night to brave the downtown streets of Denver’s nightlife, it’s an almost certainty that you will be approached by a menagerie of people from all walks of life: a bum looking for spare change, a drunken group precariously wobbling on and off the sidewalk, and everything in between. But if you find yourself being approached by a person offering a free limo ride and champagne for accompanying them to a club in the ‘burbs of Westminster, take your finger off the panic button on your keychain, put the safety pin back in the trigger to your mace can and reply, “Sure, I like free stuff!”
What if you’re already a citizen of the great suburb of Westminster? Well, take comfort in the fact that you won’t need to brave the limo ride back downtown while trying to either hold down the spins or work out how you’re going to hit the ground running in order to leave the drunk girl/guy who seems to have attached themselves to you like some kind of skin disease! Instead just grab a taxi and head to your local outside mall, Westminster Promenade, and make your way to Que Bueno.
“Que Bueno? That sounds like a Mexican restaurant, not a club!” you exclaim. And you would be right. By day, Que Bueno is a mild-mannered Mexican restaurant. But by night, it dons a new mantle with the purpose of fighting post-sundown boredom in the ‘burbs and becomes Sheer.
“It (Sheer) truly is a Las Vegas style nightclub,” swears Bart DeLorenzo and he should know. Delorenzo’s been in this business before, with Sevilla in both Vegas and here, and Sheer is his way of bringing Vegas VIP’idge to a place near you. As long as you know how to “dress to impress,” the red carpet is rolled out for you… literally! And there are no limits to the top shelf experience to be had, from free valet to a sophisticated interior with plenty of room to either cut up the dance floor to the DJ or cut into some of their edibles from the Fire and Ice menu. Of course if it’s the ‘lifestyle’ lifestyle you’re looking for, Delorenzo and crew has you covered, too. Sheer offers an SVIP mezzanine bottle service area overlooking the venue with privacy screens to make your VIP experience that much more… exclusive.
With their background of tested experience in the industry, a location in an up and coming area, and focus on the ‘VIP’, Sheer might just be worth that limo ride there and back. So next time a stranger offers you a ride, children, what are you going to say? I thought so.
