Over sounds of hair dryers and chit chat in the understated yet sleek Blanc Salon, the voice of owner Ty Tomlinson can be overheard shouting little pearls of wisdom like…A really good salon is “about your hair, not the red faux painted walls!”  Or “Evolution with hair leads to evolution in life…”

All of these little pearls were strung together and they became Blanc the Salon.  Here at Image headquarters, we know that Blanc is one of Denver’s best.  Not only does our beloved publisher, Greg Bloom, head to Blanc for his cool crop, they also do the hair for a number of fashion shows including the annual In Bloom extravaganza and our 5th Anniversary Bash last November.  They have quite a rap sheet, including “Best Of” City search, Editor’s Pick…. 5280’s “Top of the Town” Reader’s Choice, and the “Choice” Color and “Choice” Stylist awards.  With a rep like this, Blanc shimmers above the sea of imposters, and delivers each time.

A self-proclaimed “Power House Hair Salon”, Blanc the Salon is known for its kick ass color... and the kind of cuts that will be life-changing.   As a painter, you must be able to create a classic before you can claim to be the artist of an abstract or modern; this idea translates to the secrets of really good hair.  Do classic cuts really well, and then take those classics to a new level of trendiness, creativity, and re-invention.  You will be left with something so truly fantastic it may just inspire you to re-do another area of your life! Think about it, hair really can be (re)evolutionary!

All talk aside, Blanc the Salon has a lot to offer.  Besides hair, they also have manicures, pedicures, Botox and laser hair removal.  They carry a product line that is to dye for.  It is the all natural Phytologie, botanical-based hair care that uses plant extracts instead of yucky chemicals that dry you up and spit you out.  They have a staff of 11 stylists, and while it is probably a good idea to book an appointment… Blanc assured that walk-ins were welcome.  This place is hip, and it is trendy, but it is also welcoming and experienced.
