Guy J's debut artist album Esperanza (Bedrock Records) is an amazing experience. It's not quite a DJ Mix CD, but it is definitely more than a NOW! compilation. Going green is the hip thing to do these days, even if you’re not a hippie. With health trends and environmentally conscious consumerism on the up, more and more people are getting down with organic products. Loren Kagan, owner of organic importer Kagan Imports, is one of them. Kagan’s importing company is the only one of its kind in Colorado, dealing and distributing only organic liquors, wine and beers.

Vampires are allegedly allergic to light, but not every nocturnal creature on the planet is prone to photophobia. Zoo Lights at The Denver Zoo is proof. Each holiday season, zoo employees—beast masters, if you will—snake oodles of environmentally-friendly LED (light-emitting diodes) strands across some 38 acres.
