Rockin’ the LS600h L up and down Ocean Ave., through Beverly Hills and around “Hollyweird,” gave me a sense of elitism that could only be felt after purchasing a $120k automobile and having supermodels do double takes when you drive by… music blaring or not.

Just as their name implies, the Denver Outlaws are an unruly bunch of Old Western-style thieves that aren’t to be trusted. After all, since their induction into Major League Lacrosse in 2006, these Denver desperados have been stealing all the glory, limelight and lucre of the lacrosse circuit, to be sure. And these bandits seemingly won’t back down until they’ve lassoed themselves a national title. 

When my friend Tanya first invited me to an Obama house meeting, I was reluctant, to say the least.  The meeting was scheduled for a Sunday, and although I often work seven days a week, I had recently gotten into the “Sunday Funday” summer spirit, pool party hopping on the regular.

Tasha Madison, owner of Rainaj Designs, LLC will host the 1^st Annual Lights, Camera, Fashion Show and Market July 26 at the remarkable Colorado Convention Center at three o’clock to help raise funds for Divine Journey Inc., a non-profit organization raising awareness of Kidney Disease and Kidney Donation in the African-American community.

Household name headliners like Tom Petty, Dave Matthews, John Mayer, The Black Crowes and Steve Winwood, along with hometown heroes Rose Hill Drive, Leftover Salmon, Meese, The Railbenders, OneRepublic and recent national breakouts Flobots drew nearly a hundred thousand people to Commerce City over the course of two days.
