Three episodes would run in a row every Monday and, on those nights, I was affixed to the sofa religiously, as if Couch Potatoism was suddenly a worthwhile new sect. Imagine how Aussie-born singer Sia felt when the heart-wrenching series finale featured her song “Breathe Me” in its final minutes...

Hairstylist by day, cage-fighter by night, Kenneth Ivan synergizes seemingly polar-opposite interests, cutting hair and kicking @$$, as deftly as a barber shaves a head and Lancelot wields a six-foot sword. Imagine a clothing store that allows you to buy, sell, or trade your quality duds without the traditional consignment feel. Not only are you recycling textiles, which reduces waste, but you are also succumbing to an endless array of vintage, designer and one-of-a-kind items.

Blind faith in a single promoter’s vision can be a rare commodity, especially in the occasionally corrupt and often financially risky underground rave scene, but Denver-based production company Pureform Atmospheres has certainly earned it. Even before announcing the actual lineup for their upcoming return to “form” (The Elements, February 16), longtime fans and eager converts began snatching up presale tickets left and right.
