More than 1,100 of Denver’s gorgeous and elite got together at Rotors of the Rockies the night of Sept. 22 for the Platinum Ball, an evening of drinking, dancing, networking and, of course, helicopter rides.“What other party have you been to where they were giving away helicopter rides?”

Thëorie hopes to not only offer class to the neighborhood, but the owners and servers hope to appeal to the growing demographic of hip and with-it yuppies that are calling the formerly industrial area of Denver their home.

With his Liquid Counterfeit Crew, Thatch and his raving cohorts spin fire every Sunday night at dusk--complete with tribal drum circle--at Confluence Park, next to the REI on 15th Street.
