DROPKICK MURPHYS
Sonny and Cher, peanut butter and jelly, Bush and Cheney… Okay, disregard that last one, but all the others are examples of great partnerships, that are just better together. And in the spirit of St. Patrick, I’ll go one further, Irish folk music and punk rock! This March, if one day of drinking and singing won’t sate you, grab your pint in one hand and a mic in the other and work out which one you’ll forfeit to throw a fist in the air. This Boston seven-piece have been pleasing crowds across the world with their brand of Irish-inspired punk rock since ’96. Their philosophy of "the stage is yours as much as it is ours” might just give you a night at the Fillmore that is more Green than elbows propped on a bar waving a ten-bob-note.

YOUNG DUBLINERS
The Mile High City sits nearly nine hours from the green pastures and white heads (of Guinness, that is) of the emerald isle. Although that is possibly further than the end of the rainbow, don’t let that stop them from claiming the pot of gold for their very own. This pot of gold is (LA and Irish natives) The Young Dubliners. Known for their raucous shows and Irish-infused rock anthems, the Young Dubliners are the ticket to the continuation of your green beer tidal wave. You’re not part of the Colorado music scene if you don’t know these guys, and if you don’t then there ain’t no better time than this St. Patty’s day season to discover them.
