Image Staff Picks

 Greg Bloom:
llegal Pete's -16th
(Between Wazee and Blake)
Breakfast, lunch or dinner... fast delicious burritos about 65 steps from my apartment. Fresh ingredients, and they mix everything up before they close the tortilla so you don't get the whole glob of sour cream in one bite. Nice touch!

  Ashley Dawson:
Potager
(11th & Ogden)
Seasonal Menus made with the freshest organic, hand picked ingrediants.

  Scott Maestro:
Panda King,
(Just East of 44th and Wadsworth)
"Oriental buffet with pizza, spagthetti and fried chicken for $11.00
On-site chef will cook stir-fry fresh.  Dessert and ice cream included, fruit
bar, salad bar.  Good bargain."

 Adam Anderson:
Blue Bonnet
(Broadway and Alameda)
"There is only one, and you will never have Chili Con Queso or Margarita's that compare to theirs!"

  Shauna Hannon:
Hapas in Cherry Creek
"I love sushi and seafood in general, and Hapas has really creative fushion-esque dishes. I also like the atmosphere of the restaurant (classy but not too stiff). I'm not sure if they do this anymore, but the DJ playing lounge music fits the "mood" pretty well..."

  Amanda Day Vance:
Higland Pacific Restaurant and Oyster bar
(3934 W 32nd Ave.)
"The atmosphere is rockin' while the food is just amazing! The Grilled Ahi Tuna with tempura bok choy and edamame in a coriander orange butter sauce with soy honey is to simply DIE for!! As well as the fresh oysters, crab cakes, even the shrimp and grits."

  Ben Simkins
Kiki's Japanese on Colorado BLVD
"It's true Japanese food at it's moderately priced finest. Good sushi and traditional menu. Get the Katsudon!"

orange peel moses
nine75
(975 Lincoln)
"Gourmet comfort food and best mac & cheese in the state:)"

 Thomas O'Connor:
Govinda's - 1400 Cherry Street Denver 303-333-5461
Hours: Monday to Friday 11:30 am to 2:30 pm, 5 pm to 8 pm
Saturday open only for dinner only in the summer 5 pm to 8 pm
Comments: Has a free vegetarian Sunday Feast at 6 pm.  Outstanding and very affordable vegitarian buffet operated by the Hare Krishna community that has it's temple adjacent. Very chill atmosphere.
